Details About Bank Descriptive Papers

In number of banks exam in addition to the Objective Test Descriptive Test is also taken.

In this paper candidates have to answer 3 out of 4 OR 4 out of 5 questions as per the bank exam rule. The students has the option to answer these questions either in English, Hindi or the Language of State i.e. Regional Language.

Although this paper is only for "Qualifying Purpose" and number of the descriptive exam are not added while making Merit List but it is compulsory to pass this exam with atleast 40% marks (35% for Reserved). Without passing it your numbers of objective exam are worthless.

In Descriptive Exam 2 types of questions are asked -

  1. The questions which will ask your answer in Favour & Against of any topic.

  2. The questions whose answers demands your general views, ideas. So that examiner can know about your mind & your thinking.
